Scorpion UV Black light / Blue 24" (600mm)
When Scorpions are illuminated by UV rays from a black light, the armored arachnids glow an unnatural neon blue. UV light that hits these creepy crawlies gets converted by proteins in their exoskeletons into light of a blue hue, which is visible to the human eye. While the scorpion glows under black light, it is sensitive to injury from ultraviolet light, so it should not be exposed to black light for an extended length of time.
