Acropora Hard Corals
Acropora Corals are beautiful species of hard coral that will vary in coloration to nearly every colour that exists. It is a relatively tricky coral to keep but is one of the most amazing and vibrant corals available.
The ideal conditions for Acropora coral is an established reef aquarium with bright lighting provided by preferably intense metal halides. They can also thrive under multiple T-5 or compact fluorescents if placed high in the aquarium. Under the right conditions, the growth rate of the Acropora coral is much more rapid than most of the other corals found in an established reef aquarium.
Acropora is more for the experienced keeper as it requires excellent water conditions and nutrient levels.
