Shingleback ( Tiliqua rugosa )
Also referred to as a Stumpy Tail Lizard
They are a bulky lizard with a stumpy tail and are slow moving. They grow to around 30cm. They like to eat insects, snails, fruit, flowers and berries.

They live in the Southern half of Australia except for eastern and south-eastern coastal areas. Once they find a partner they will return to the same partner for breeding every year. They have 1-4 live young.
