The Aqua One 105s Sponge Pad set suits the Aqua One Ecostyle 42 and Ecostyle 47 Aquariums.

PERFORMANCE
The Aqua One 105s Sponge Pad Set consists of two sections of black open cell foam shaped to fit the Aqua One overhead trickle filter fitted to the Ecostyle 42 and Ecostyle 47 aquariums. The foam will trap solid debris and also has the correct structure to culture aerobic filtration bacteria which will remove toxic ammonia and nitrite from the aquarium water.
USEFUL LIFE
The Aqua One 105s Sponge Pad set lasts around four to six weeks in normal use. It should be rinsed clean every week or two in a little aquarium water. Over time it will become harder to clean and require more frequent cleaning, at this point it should be discarded and replaced. Very old and blocked sponge pads may cause the flow rate to be reduced and the trickle filter to overflow so do stick to the recommended replacement schedule.
