Lighting

We carry a full and complete range of lighting fixtures and globes to suit your turtle tank. All Australian turtles require UVB lighting as well as a heat lamp situated over your basking area. UVB 10.0 is recommended for all turtles under the age of 5 and either UVB 10.0 or 5.0 for adult turtles. We only sell the very best UVB lighting available. Mercury vapour lamps are only suitable for tanks 4 x 2 x 2 and larger due to the large amount of heat they produce. Temperature at your basking spot should be 28-30 Celsius.
