Choosing the right filtration for your aquarium or fish tank is the most important factor when setting up a new aquarium. Just because your water may be clean in appearance means nothing for the actual quality of your water. A good filter will not only keep your tank looking nice and clean but will also biologically purify the water by breaking down Ammonias and Nitrites which can be life threatening to your fish. On smaller tanks internal filters may be used but on tanks 100 litres and over we highly recommend the use of canister/external filters.
